NOTE: These instructions refer to the BASKET, PLANTER, CAPILLARY STRIP and GROW BAG that are part
of the Victory Self-Watering Patio Planter (sold separately).

1. Remove the BASKET from your empty
PLANTER and insert two POLES into the
slots on the inside (smooth sides facing
towards the center of the PLANTER).

tabs should be visible
when fully secure
2. Slide the BASKET over the POLES and
back on top of the PLANTER. Press it
securely into place. NOTE: If the BASKET
doesn't have the CAPILLARY STRIP and
GROW BAG installed already, do that now
following the Patio Planter instructions.

NOTE: The POLES will slide 1/2" into the
slots in the PLANTER.

3. Slide the TIE DOWN SYSTEMS into the
slots on each POLE. NOTE: If you prefer,
the TIE DOWNS can be added to the upper
POLES during Step 5. Secure the ends of
the TIE DOWNS to prevent your PLANTER
from tipping over in high winds.

4. Mix 1 cup of fertilizer into 40 quarts of
potting mix and pre-moisten. Fill your
PLANTER to within 1" to 2" of the top
edge. NOTE: We recommend our Organic
Self-Watering Potting Mix, as well as a
slow-release granular fertilizer, such as our
All Purpose Fertilizer.
