Operation

case or the cooling water pilot hole is
blocked. Consult your Yamaha dealer if
the problem cannot be located and cor-
rected.

tween the exhaust cover, cylinder head, and

Shifting

While tightly moored, and without applying
throttle, confirm that the engine shifts
smoothly into forward and reverse, and back
to neutral.

Selecting outboard motor
After all engines have started, set all control
levers to Neutral. Push the engine selector
switch repeatedly to change the digital elec-
tronic control-active indicator and select the
desired engine.
