Removing a Memory Stick
To remove a Memory Stick

Double-click the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon in the taskbar.
The Unplug or Eject Hardware dialog box appears.

Select the hardware you want to unplug.

Click Stop.

In the Stop a Hardware device dialog box, confirm that the device can be safely removed from the
system.

Click OK.
You get a message that it is safe to remove the device.

Click OK.

Click Close.

Press the PC Card release button so that it pops out.

Push the PC Card release button again to eject the Memory Stick

Gently grasp the Memory Stick
You can skip steps 1-7 if your notebook is off.
Using the modem
Your notebook is equipped with an internal modem.
You need to connect a phone line to take advantage of online services and the Internet, to register your
computer and software online, and to contact VAIO-Link.
To connect a phone line, proceed as follows:
