TROUBLESHOOTING

Before Calling for Service

If a failure occurs in the product, check the following before contacting an LG Elec-
tronics Customer Information Center for service.
Symptoms
The appliance does not
operate.
Fan is noisy even on the
lowest speed.
The Product does not
charge.
The product turns off
earlier than expected.
Abnormal smells ema-
nate from the product.

Causes and solutions
• The battery is discharged. See Charging the
Battery.
• The ambient temperature is too high or too low.
Check the ambient temperature.
• The PuriCare filters are clogged with dirt and need
to be replaced. The filter replacement period may
vary depending on the nature of particular operat-
ing environments.
• It is normal for the suction fan to make noise when
breathing through the product.
• The charging cable and the charging unit are not
connected. Reconnect the charging cable to the
charging unit.
• There is foreign material on the charging unit.
Clean off the foreign material with a soft, dry cloth.
• Operating time may vary depending on the condi-
tion of the battery and the product.
• The PuriCare filters are dirty and need to be
replaced. The frequency of filter replacement
depends on the usage environment.
• The inner cover is dirty and needs to be replaced.
• The face guard needs to be cleaned. Refer to the
Cleaning the Face Guard section for instructions.
