Manual - Vector SR65
CAUTION: Do not turn off the transmitter before unconnecting the battery from the receiver.
Otherwise the receiver may pick up stray signals and can cause an accident! Never use the
boat in salt water -> warranty will be lost.
Always store the boat with hatch removed to prevent mold etc. in the hull.
Test Drive in Water
1. Place the boat in the water.
2. Drive at low speed near the shore. Always avoid objects in the water.
3. As soon as you feel safe when driving slowly, continue driving farther away when the
situation allows to do so.
Tip: If you have too much trim in the steering to steer the boat straight, set the trim to a neu-
tral position and center the rudder mechanically. You can do this by loosening the button on
the rudder horn, placing it in a suitable position to ensure the rudder is centered.
4. Drive the boat back when you notice that it is driving slower, even though you give maxi-
mum throttle.

Controlling Tips

Keep away from watercraft, solid objects, waves or rapid currents, animals or plants in the wa-
ter. Also keep away from areas with many people such as swimming areas, fishing ponds etc.
Check regional laws or regulations before driving in a specific region.
Maximum speed can only be achieved if the water and wind conditions are correspondingly
mild. Sharp curves, wind or waves can cause the boat to tip over. Always adapt your driving
style to the driving conditions. For your first ride we recommend light to no wind and calm
water.
ATTENTION: If you drive with full throttle in turbulent water, the propeller could get over and
under water again, which can lead to damage to the propeller.
ATTENTION: Never get your boat out of the water at extreme temperatures, turbulence or
without supervision.

Motor Care

Extend the life of the motor by preventing overheating. Excessive wear occurs from constant
turns, starts and stops or permanent full throttle, or driving in inappropriate conditions as de-
scribed above.
Overheat protection is provided by the controller in terms of damage to the circuit, but can
not protect the motor from heavy resistance.

After Driving

1. Turn off the controller
2. Disconnect the battery
3. Turn off the transmitter
4. Remove the batteries from the boat and the transmiter.
Always store the boat with hatch removed to prevent mold etc. in the hull.
