Manual - SR80 Vector Pro
Check the Radio System
WARNING: Always keep all parts of your body, hair and loose or suspended parts away from
the propeller as they can get caught.
Always turn on the transmitter before the ESC. Also turn the ESC off before the transmit-
ter. Never transport the battery while still connected to the ESC.
1. Set the transmitter throttle and the trim to the center position.
2. Turn on the transmitter.
3. Connect a fully charged battery to the ESC.
4. Check that the vehicle is moving in the right direction when you are steering right or left.
5. Give maximum throttle, then move the throttle lever in the opposite direction, the pro-
peller should now turn in the other direction. The ESC auto-sensing voltage cutoff is used
when the ESC detects a low battery level. Release the throttle and recharge the battery if
necessary.
Getting Started
1. Turn on the transmitter.
2. Connect a fully charged battery to the controller.
3. Test transmitter's control with the boat on the display stand.
4. After you carefully place the boat into the water, start driving slowly. If the boat does not go
straight, adjust the trim on the transmitter.
5. Turn the controller off and disconnect the battery.
6. Always turn off the transmitter at the end.
7. Allow the motor, the ESC and the battery to cool before recharging or reusing the boat.
CAUTION: Do not turn off the transmitter before unconnecting the battery from the receiver.
Otherwise the receiver may pick up stray signals and can cause an accident! Never use the
boat in salt water -> warranty will be lost.
Always store the boat with hatch removed to prevent mold etc. in the hull.
Test Drive in Water
1. Place the boat in the water.
2. Drive at low speed near the shore. Always avoid objects in the water.
3. As soon as you feel safe when driving slowly, continue driving farther away when the
situation allows to do so.
Tip: If you have too much trim in the steering to steer the boat straight, set the trim to a neu-
tral position and center the rudder mechanically. You can do this by loosening the button on
the rudder horn, placing it in a suitable position to ensure the rudder is centered.
4. Drive the boat back when you notice that it is driving slower, even though you give maxi-
mum throttle.
