The L CD monitor isproduced with extremely high-precision
manufacturing techniques. More t han 99.99% o fthe pixels operate
tospecification. Less than 0 .01% ofthe pixels may o ccasionally
misfire orappear as red orblack dots. This h as n oeffect onthe
recorded image and does n ot c onstitute amalfunction.
Please set t he camera's video signal format tothe one used i nyour
region before using i twith aTV monitor (p.121).
• The c amera has a built-in rechargeabJe lithium b attery that m aintains
the date, time a nd other camera settings. This battery recharges when
the main b attery pack isinserted into the camera. When you first
purchase the camera, place acharged battery pack initoruse t he AC
adapter kit(sold separately) for a tleast 4hours tocharge the date/time
battery. Itwin charge even when the camera power isset toOff.
• Ifthe Date/Time menu appears when t he camera power is turned on,
itmeans that the date/time battery charge isdepleted. Recharge itas
described above.
