• Use the _)or(D button toselect afield
(year, month, day, hour, minute and
date f ormat), and t he _ or_ button
tochange its value.
• To put t he settings into effect, press the
SET button after setting the date
format.
• Press the MENU button toredisplay the
Rec. orPlay screen.
I_ • Please note that t he date and time settings may r eset to
the default settings ifthe camera battery has b een
removed formore t han three w eeks. Reset them when t his
occurs.
• Setting the date and time settings does n ot c ause thedate/
time stamp toappear onimages.
- The c amera has a built-in r echargeable lithium battery
forsaving settings such a s the date and time. This
battery isrecharged bythe battery pack while itisinthe
camera. Right after p urchasing the camera, leave a
charged battery pack i nthe camera, orplug inAC
Adapter KitACK500 (sold s eparately), forabout 4hours
tocharge the date/time battery. Itwill c harge even
when t he camera's power switch is off.

isturned on, t he date/time battery charge islow. U se
the above method torecharge it.
