Figure 5-15. Removing the Power Supply
The SC116 chassis includes a redundant power supply which allows the server to
continue running when one power supply has been removed.
Replacing the Power Supply
1. Push the release tab (on the back of the power supply) as illustrated.
2. Pull the power supply out using the handle provided.
3. Replace the failed power module with the same model.
4. Push the new power supply module into the power bay until it clicks into the
locked position.
