The espresso machine Jolly is to be installed to comply with the applicable federal, state or local
plumbing codes having jurisdiction.
The manufacturer has tried to foresee all possible safety devices to ensure the safety of the users.
Anyhow different conditions of installation or of equipment moving can cause situations which cannot be controlled
or foreseen. Therefore it's absolutely necessary to evaluate all remaining risks and to care about the following:
•
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by technicians and service providers authorised by the
manufacturer.
•
The appliance is only to be installed in locations where use and maintenance is restricted to trained
personnel.
•
Any defect or discrepancy have to be notified immediately to the authorised persons for installation and
maintenance.
•
A residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA must be
installed.
•
Prepare the machine's support on a flat horizontal, dry, smooth, sturdy, stable surface positioned at such a
height that the cup warming surface is over 150 cm from the ground.
•
Do not use water jets, neither perform the installation in places where water jets are used.
•
In order to guarantee regular operation, the device must be installed in places where the temperature is
between +5 and +32 ºC and the humidity does not exceed 70%.
• If the machine is exposed to temperatures below + 0 °C, proceed as follows: ensure that the machine has
elapsed 24 hours in a place where temperature is higher than + 15 °C before turn it on.

The machine is electric
•
ally supplied and it needs the following to operate:
- connection to electric network
- connection to water network
- connection to drain circuit.
•
This machine is safe only when it has been correctly connected to an efficient grounding /earthing system,
implemented in accordance with the current safety regulations.
•
All electrical connections have to be effectuated exclusively by authorised and qualified technicians. Any
improper cable connection is forbidden.
•
Check the integrity of all components and do not install defective or damaged parts. Ask for replacement.
•
Check that capacity of the electrical system is sufficient for the maximum rated power shown on the data
rating plate of the machine.
•
The customer has to protect the electrical feeding of the machine by means of a safety switch system of 30
mA.
•
The machine must be installed with an electrical switch with adequate fuses and safety devices.
•
The machines with electrical input over 16 A, must be connected to a net with impedance
= or < than 0,37 Ω.
•
The machine has to operate with clean soft drinking water. Building up of scale will seriously damage this
equipment and can also cause injuries. If necessary, install an inlet filter.
•
Before installation, the manufacturer strongly recommends to check the water supply system and the
electrical connections.
