2 Connecting the AM/FM aerials

Connect the AM/FM aerials to the subwoofer.
To connect the AM aerial
Aerial
The shape and length of the aerial are designed to
receive AM signals. Do not dismantle or roll up
the aerial.

Remove only the loop part from the plastic
stand.

Set up the AM loop aerial.

Connect the cords to the AM aerial terminals
on the subwoofer.
Cord (A) or cord (B) can be connected to
either terminal.
Insert to this part.
Push down the terminal clamp and insert the cords.

Make sure the AM loop aerial is connected
firmly by pulling softly.
z Hint
Adjust the direction of the AM loop aerial for best AM
broadcast sound.

Note
Do not place the AM loop aerial near the system or other
AV equipment, as noise may result.

To connect the FM wire aerial
Connect the FM wire aerial to the COAXIAL FM
75 Ω jack on the subwoofer.

z Hint
If you have poor FM reception, use a 75-ohm coaxial
cable (not supplied) to connect the system to an outdoor
FM aerial, as shown below.

Notes
• Be sure to fully extend the FM wire aerial.
• After connecting the FM wire aerial, keep it as
horizontal as possible.
