Removing the Interface Board

This procedure assumes that you have followed the previous procedure to disconnect the
Interface Board.
1. Six screws secure the rear panel plate and Interface Board to the back panel. Remove the
six screws. Remove the ground strap.
2. Remove the rear panel with the Interface Board and place it on your work surface.
Note: If you are replacing the Interface Board with a new board or the repair requires
separating the Interface Board from the rear panel, follow Steps 3 and 4.

3. Remove the ve screws that secure the Interface Board jacks and AC socket to the rear
panel.
4. Remove the nut that secures the CC Pedal jack.
5. Remove the Interface Board and set the rear panel safely aside.

Replacing the Interface Board

If you are replacing the Interface Board with a new board or have removed the rear panel plate
from the original Interface Board, follow Steps 1––3. If not, proceed to Step 4.
1. Hold the Interface Board so that the jacks and AC socket are correctly positioned through
the openings provided for them in the rear panel plate.
2. Install the nut to secure the CC Pedal jack.
3. Install the ve screws that secure the Interface Board to the rear panel plate.
4. Position the assembled rear panel plate and Interface Board on the back panel.
5. Install the six screws that secure the rear panel plate to the back panel.
6. Install the ground strap.
7. Follow the steps in Connecting the Interface Board.
