Installation site The vacuum pump must be installed in an adequately ventilated dust-free and frost-free room. The ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +40°C. Consult us for temperatures outside this range.

It is preferable to secure the package to a European pallet so that it cannot overturn. The pump must be drained before being shipped. 2.5.

FILLING WITH OIL Remove the oil filler cap and fill up to the middle of the oil level sight situated at the bottom of the oil box. To use the pump without oil or with an insufficient amount can damage it The use of not adapted oil can destroy the pump.

    General instructions for installation and maintenance EVISA-Series VACUUM PUMPS 3.2. Putting into service If the pump starts on line (direct starting), see §3.1.4. Before starting the pump, check its oil level (see § 3.1.3.). Start the pump briefly to check the direction of motor rotation (red arrow on the electric motor). If necessary, change the direction by switching over the two motor power supply phase wires.

Unscrew (3) so as to release and remove the clamping bow (5). Remove the oil separating cartridge (6).

It is located in the separating cartridge compartment (see view in separating cartridge section - item (8)). Operating check: Stop the pump.

TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE IN CASE OF MALFUNCTIONING Do not dismantle the pump more than necessary during repair, servicing or maintenance operations. INCIDENT PROBABLE CAUSE 1.1. Lieu d'implantation La pompe à vide doit être installée dans une pièce suffisamment aérée, exempte de poussières et à l'abri du gel. La température ambiante doit être entre +5°C et +40°C.

Transport Les machines doivent être correctement emballées dans leur emballage d'origine, avant d'être transportées vers leur destination. Il est préférable de fixer l'emballage sur une palette européenne de façon à ce qu'il ne puisse pas basculer. La pompe doit être vidangée avant tout transport.

L'utilisation d'une autre huile que celle préconisée par MIL'S, engage votre responsabilité et/ou celle de votre fournisseur. L'utilisation d'une huile non adaptée peut entraîner la destruction de la pompe.

Avant tout démarrage de la pompe, vérifier son niveau d’huile (voir § 3.1.3.). Mettre en route momentanément la pompe pour contrôler le sens de rotation (flèche rouge sur le moteur électrique).

Suivant le degré d'impuretés aspirées, elle est à nettoyer régulièrement par lavage ou soufflage. La remplacer si nécessaire. Retirer la bride d'aspiration (2).

Purgeur automatique Rappel : Ce purgeur réinjecte l'huile provenant des cartouches séparatrices dans la pompe. Il se trouve dans le compartiment des cartouches séparatrices. (voir vue du § cartouche séparatrice - repère (8)). Vérification fonctionnement : Arrêter la pompe.
