Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.

The appliance is dis-
connected from the
mains.
LED bulb is defective. Contact an electrician.
Grease filter is
clogged.

does not have a suffi-
cient air supply.
The exhaust air hose
is bent or too long.
Troubleshooting table
Solutions, tips
Check to ensure that the mains plug is po-
sitioned correctly. Check the socket by con-
necting another electric device. Check the
fuse.
Clean the grease filters (see page GB-18).
Clean the grease filters and/or replace the
activated charcoal filters (starting at page
GB-18).
The exhaust hood expels a large amount
of exhaust air. This is why you need to pro-
vide a sufficient air supply, e.g. by providing
non-sealable openings in doors, windows
and ventilation conduits. Note the safety no-
tices starting on page GB-4.
Check whether the exhaust air hose is bent
or too long.
