Performance description
The NK350/NK350S network coupler allows
up to 40 tightening channels in up to 16
BT356 card racks or SB35x system racks to
be networked. It has an LED display to show
the network status (network diagnosis) of the
participants (KE350x communication unit
and SE352x controllers).
The hex coding switch on the front is used to
set the address of the BT356 or SB356.
Additional bus termination resistors are not
required, as they are integrated in the
NK350/NK350S network couplers.
The NK350S has an internal power supply
that generates the bus supply and must be
used once per network. The NK350S must
be integrated into the BT356 (in the SB35x),
which contains the central communication
unit KE350x.
The total cable length in the network is limited
to 150 m. The maximum cable length
between two network couplers may not
exceed 50 m. The network cable between
two network couplers may consist of no more
than four partial segments. A ring structure is
not permissible in the network configuration.

NOTE!
The D-Sub plugs of the network cables
NKLxx have the protection type IP40. If
several cables are assembled, the user
must ensure the higher degree of
protection that is possibly required.

If a network cable is created from several
partial segments, distance segments are
required at the connection points.
