1. Connect the MEGA Live ICE power SAE cable to the
transducer power cable connector, and connect the
Ethernet extension cable to the transducer Ethernet cable.
The connectors are keyed to prevent reversed installation,
so be careful not to force the connectors. Hand-tighten
the screw nuts on each connector.
2. Power: Route one of the SAE cables connected to your
power switch through one of the side grommets on the
back battery cover of your ICE HELIX Shuttle. Connect
the MEGA Live ICE power SAE cable to the SAE cable.
Making this connection outside of the shuttle will allow
for quick-disconnect.
3. Ethernet and optional ICE Heading Sensor:
For HELIX 7 G4N models, use the following instructions to route the cables:
A. Insert the Ethernet adapter cable and optional ICE Heading Sensor extension
cable connectors into the correct ports on the control head. Refer to the
illustration HELIX 7 G4N Control Head Ports. The ports are labeled and the
connectors are keyed to prevent incorrect installation, so do not force the
connector into the wrong port.
B. Route the Ethernet adapter cable through one of the side grommets on the
back battery cover of your ICE HELIX Shuttle. Connect it to the Ethernet
extension cable. Making this connection outside of the shuttle will allow for
quick-disconnect.
C. Route the optional Heading Sensor extension cable through one of the side
grommets on the back battery cover of your ICE HELIX Shuttle. Connect it to
the Heading Sensor cable. Making this connection outside of the shuttle will
allow for quick-disconnect.
