4.1 Preparations

Check the package content for visible signs of transport damage and for
completeness.
Do not install parts damaged during shipment. Contact your Siemens
representative in the event of damaged parts.
Note the information in the following sections of these operating instructions before
installing the Climatix touch panel:
● Climatic ambient conditions
● Protection classes
The following clearances are required around the Climatix touch panel to ensure
sufficient self-ventilation:
x 10 mm y1
z 25 mm y2
Avoid mounting the Climatix touch panel near other devices' AC power cable,
controller output module, relay, or other electrical equipment.
Keep the Climatix touch panel away from equipment such as frequency converters
and power supply units, and shield all input or output cables to the equipment. The
shielding must be properly earth grounded.
