Do NOT finish past the terminal return flange. Failure to comply with these instructions could create a fire
hazard.
•
Do NOT block the air intakes (all four sides) or the exhaust port. Ensure
restricted in any way.
note:
The ST47U and the ST58U-1 have
an unfinished aluminum surface
that can be painted. Use only high-
temperature rated paints that can
withstand temperatures of at least 480°F
(250°C) and apply according to the
manufacturer's instructions.
* Where applicable, an additional standoff or brick standoff kit is required. These applications may result in the
terminal flange being proud of the finish material.
