Failure to obey these rules could result in loss of control of equipment, severe per- sonal injury or death to you, yourself or bystanders, or damage to property or equipment. This mowing deck is capable of amputat- ing hands and feet and throwing objects.

    Coronet / 2400 / RE 200 Series Uncrating 1. Using a reciprocating utility saw or equivalent, cut crate away from bottom skid. Remove crate. Remove shrink-wrap plastic. 2. Cut banding from front and rear tractor axles. Cut banding from mower rollers. Remove mower from bot- tom skid.

    Coronet / 2400 / RE 200 Series Tractor Assembly (CE Only) NOTE: The following assembly procedure is for Export models only. Seat Installation 1. The mounting hardware for the seat is retained in the seat deck by push nuts. Position seat over four cap- screws extending from bottom of seat deck, raise seat deck, and tighten the four capscrews.

    Coronet / 2400 / RE 200 Series Check Fluid Levels Fill & Check Engine Oil 1. Use the dipstick (A, Figure 4) to check the engine oil level. If necessary add engine oil. Check engine manufacturer’s owner’s manual for oil recommenda- tions.

    Coronet / 2400 / RE 200 Series Mower Installation & Removal 1. Park rider on a level surface. Turn off engine and remove key. Apply parking brake and lower mower lift lever from transport position. Make sure Dial-A-Cut™ control is not in a high cutting position. 2.

    Coronet / 2400 / RE 200 Series Front-to-Back Leveling 1. Make sure mower is level from side-to-side (refer to previous adjustment). Rear mower rollers should be on the ground. CAUTION Mower blades can cut hands if not protected by gloves. Turn the mower drive belt by hand to rotate blades into position or wear gloves to turn blade(s) by hand.

These safety systems are present for your safety, do not attempt to bypass safety switches, and never Disengage the PTO, stop the engine, set the parking tamper with safety devices.
