Possible Cause
Certain sounds are
normal.
The unit is not level
or is touching another
appliance.
The unit is not
grounded properly.
The environment is
humid.
The ambient
temperature is too low.
The door is being
opened too frequently.
Your freezer is not
level.
The door gasket is dirty. Clean the door gasket.
The door gasket is not
installed correctly.
The shelf is incorrectly
installed.
Solution
Read the "Normal Sounds" section.
Check to make sure that the freezer is level, and
that it is not in contact with another appliance or
furniture.
Contact your local electrician to test your
electrical grounding system.
Though the unit uses an "auto-defrost" system,
under certain conditions, manual defrosting may
be required. If frost builds up, you can try running
the freezer on a warmer temperature setting,
minimizing the number of times you open the
door, or unplugging the unit to allow the frost to
melt.
Make sure the freezer is on a level surface.
Make sure the door gasket is properly installed.
Correctly install the shelf.
