    1. REGISTRATION Please ensure you register your safe by visiting our website. Locate the “contact” button on the top header on the home page.     5. OPENING YOUR SAFE CONTENTS: USERS MANUAL, FAILSAFE KEY AND HANDLE SPOKE Locate the backup keys and single handle spoke inside the plastic bag hanging on the front of the safe. 2.     6. PROPER PLACEMENT AND MOVING OF SAFE WARNING: SAFES ARE VERY HEAVY AND AWKWARD TO HANDLE. PLEASE USE THE UTMOST CARE IN MOVING THE SAFE. UTILIZING A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL WITH PROPER MOVING EQUIPMENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The location of the gun safe is very important and the utmost care should be taken during this consideration.

SHIPPING AND SKID REMOVAL WARNING: WHILE REMOVING THE BOLTS FROM THE SKIDS, BE SURE TO HAVE A PERSON HOLD AND STABILIZE THE SAFE TO KEEP IT FROM TIPPING, CAUSING INJURY, AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE SAFE AND SURROUNDING STRUCTURES. WARNING: BEFORE REMOVING THE SHIPPING SKIDS, MAKE SURE THE DOOR IS CLOSED AND LOCKED.

    9. SECURING YOUR SAFE WARNING: YOUR SAFE IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ITSELF WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED. HOWEVER, CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO AVOID TIPPING. WHILE SECURING YOUR SAFE BE SURE TO HAVE A SECOND PERSON HOLD AND STABILIZE THE SAFE TO KEEP IT FROM TIPPING, CAUSING INJURY, AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE SAFE AND SURROUNDING STRUCTURES.

    10. LOCK FACE INSTALLATION 1. Remove lock face from box located inside of safe. 2. The lock face requires 1x9V FRONT OF LOCK FACE alkaline battery. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the lock face. Insert the battery in the proper orientation.

    11. LOCK FACE SECURITY CODE SETUP Important: It is necessary to reprogram your safe with a new security code you have personally selected to provide maximum household security. Be careful in choosing your new security code, you’ll want to be sure that you can operate the unit quickly without making an error.

    11. LOCK FACE SECURITY CODE SETUP (Continued) 4. While the safe door is still open, Green = Successful Entry confirm your newly entered security code. Wake up the keypad by swiping the keypad with your finger(s). Then enter the 3-8 digit code followed by the [ # ].

    13. ANTI-THEFT ALERT SYSTEM You are receiving the safe with the theft alarm system fully activated. If the safe is tampered with, or the keypad receives too many incorrect attempts at entry, the alarm will sound. To immediately stop the alarm from sounding, you must first gain access to your safe.

    15. LOW BATTERY WARNING This lock face is equipped to alert you when the batteries Red = Low Battery are low by illuminating the red light (center) when any button is pressed on the keypad. Please replace batteries immediately when receiving this warning. Always test the batteries when installing or replacing.
  • Page 15 LIFETIME WARRANTY SA Consumer Products, Inc. will repair or replace, at their sole discretion, any Sports Afield Gun Safe damaged by fire, forced entry, forced attack or natural flood for the lifetime of the original owner. SA Consumer Products, Inc. will repair or replace, at their sole discretion, any Sports Afield Gun Safe with defective parts, paint or lock for the lifetime or the original owner.
