In a server that uses thumbscrew rack ears, tighten the captive thumbscrews.

In a server that uses quick-release latch rack ears, if necessary, tighten the shipping screws.

If the rear panel cables were disconnected because a cable management arm is not in use, do the

Connect each power cord to the server.

Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
