The "Destination" menu appears
again. Instead of the "City" menu
item, the newly selected city is
displayed. The city entered re-
mains until the next destination
entry. In addition, the menu items
"Street", "Centre" and "Point of in-
terest" now appear.
Note:
If you entered a city name which
exists several times, a list dis-
plays in which you have to specify
your selection. If the postcode
entered applies to several places,
you have to select the desired lo-
cation from a list after entering
the postcode.
The destination entry via post -
code is only possible if the cor-
responding data exist on the nav-
igation CD. Postcodes and P.O.
boxes cannot be used in the des-
tination entry.
You can now do the following:
•
Enter a street via the "Street"
menu item (see below), or
•
enter a city centre or a centre of
a part of a city via the "Centre"
menu item (see p. 56), or
•
enter a point of interest in the
city via the "Point of interest"
menu item (see p. 56).

The "Destination" menu ap-
pears again. It now shows the
menu items "House number",
"Intersection" and "Continue".
The advantage:
To simplify the search, a long
street name can occur sever-
al times in the street list, e.g.
"RAABE-WEG,
"WILHELM-RAABE-WEG".
