  • Page 2 The ST-POEAF-S04 is a Power Source Equipment (PSE) and fully compatible with Powered Devices (PD) that comply with the IEEE 802.3 af PoE standard. The ST-POEAF-S04 enables users to attach IEEE802.3 af compliant devices such as wireless Access Points (APS), VOIP phone, IP camera, printer and Network Attached Storage (NAS) directly to the ST-POEAF-S04 without requiring additional power on the network.

    Connecting Network Cables •Connecting Network Cables The ST-POEAF-S04 supports 5 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports. Port 2 to Port 5 are PoE enabled ports. Each port incorporates 10/100Mbps support via UTP Cat5/5e cables. The 4 PoE ports will automatically activate when a compatible device is identified. The ST-POEAF- S04 will supply power through the Ethernet port to the connected PoE device on ports 1 thru 4 only.
