Stop and Start System (GDR155-A)
3. When the vehicle con rms that the
following conditions are met, the
Stop and Start System activates
and the Stop and Start System in-
dicator light comes on.

After the engine was warmed
up, the engine was left idling

To preserve battery power, the
Stop and Start System may not
activate.
If the Stop and Start System does
not activate repeatedly, have a
Yamaha dealer check the battery.

multi-function meter comes on, the en-
gine stops automatically when the en-
gine is left idling when the vehicle is
stopped and the throttle grip is in the
fully closed position.

to indicate that the engine is currently
stopped by the Stop and Start System.

Restart the engine
If you turn the throttle grip while the
Stop and Start System indicator light is
ashing and the engine is stopped, the
engine restarts automatically and
the " " indicator light stops ashing.
