Connections

Do not connect the power cord until all other connections have been made.
NOTES
• Make sure the antenna conductors do not touch any other terminals, connecting cords or the power cord. Also, keep
the antennas away from metallic parts of the System, connecting cords, and the power cord. This could cause poor
reception.
• If the cords are covered with vinyl, remove the vinyl to expose the tip of the cord by twisting it.
For better DAB reception
Disconnect the supplied DAB antenna, and
connect an active antenna.
(See "Improving the DAB reception" on page 13.)
Active antenna (not supplied)
To connect the speaker cords
Make sure both speakers are connected correctly and firmly.
• Before connecting the speaker cords, twist and pull the insulation coat off.
When connecting the speaker cords, match the polarity of the speaker terminals: red cord
to (+) and black cord to (–).
NOTES
• DO NOT connect more than one speaker to each terminal.
• DO NOT allow the conductor of the speaker cords to be in
contact with any metallic parts of the System.

Extend the wire so that you can
receive your desired ensembles.
To a wall outlet
Plug in the power cord only after all
connections are complete.
