- Page 2 Using the Telescope 1. Select the 20 mm (wide-angle) eyepiece. Remove the protective caps (see Figure 1 on reverse). Carefully insert the chrome barrel of the eyepiece into the focuser. Tighten the screws gently to secure. 2. Remove the main telescope dust cap. 3.
