CONTROLLER INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on your purchase of a Hydrofarm Climate Controller. This device will help you
keep temperature and/or humidity at the desired levels for optimum plant growth. Please read
the following instructions carefully before using your controller.
INSTALLATION
Your Controller mounts to any surface or wall with ordinary wood or sheet metal screws (not
provided). Choose a location which is representative of the environmental conditions you want
to control. Usually a middle point in the growing area is a good spot. When you mount the unit,
mount it upright as shown in the illustration. Make sure the mounting screws you use go firmly
into the mounting surface. Long screws are recommended.
OPERATION
Your controller is designed to control temperature (Temperature Controller only) and/or humid-
ity (Deluxe Climate Controller). Following the instructions on page 2, connect the desired items
to the appropriate outlets.
NOTE: Setting humidity to 80% or higher may cause your exhaust fan to run
constantly. Setting your temperature/humidity to a lower mark than your exhaust
equipment will cause your exhaust system to operate constantly. In this situation
a larger fan or air conditioning unit may be needed. Consult your local Hydrofarm
retailer for recommendations.
