Permanent Mounting Procedure

The 130-GPS may be permanently mounted on a (2" nominal O.D.) plastic pole with a U-bolt.
Failure to use a nonmetallic pole may or may not result in a weak satellite signal.
In order to mount the GPS unit properly the following instruction need to be used:
1.
Reassemble the U-bolt by mating U-bolt with the plate and then fasten nuts loosely with U-
bolt and plate. Be sure the U-bolt and plate assembly are able to wrap around top of antenna
pole.
2.
With the U-bolt at the proper height secure the bolts tightly but do not over-tighten bolts to
the point of bending the plate or deforming the plastic antenna pole.
3.
Next insert 130-GPS onto the u-bolt and tighten bolts.
