Automatic power-off:

If the left & right buttons and positions on the meter are not activated for about 15 minutes, the meter will enter sleep mode and the
screen will show nothing. Press any button to wake up the meter. To disable sleep mode, switch the function switch from
to the desired position and press any button simultaneously.

Maintenance:

Do not attempt to repair or service the meter unless you are a qualified professional technician and have read and understood sufficient
instructions for calibration, performance testing and repair, except for replacing batteries and fuse. The calibration is recommended to
be performed every 12 months.
When not in use, store the meter in a dry environment without strong electromagnetic field.

General maintenance:

Wipe the casing regularly with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not use abrasives or solvents.
If the terminal is dirty or wet, it may reduce the accuracy of reading. Proceed as below to clean the terminal:
1) Power off the meter and remove the test leads.
2) Shake off the dust that may be present in the terminals.
3) Take a new cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean the inside of each input terminal.

Servicing:

If the meter fails, first check the batteries and fuse, and then consult this manual to make sure the meter has been used correctly.

Replacing batteries and fuse:

Warning:
To avoid electric shock or personal injury due to false reading, replace the battery immediately when the symbol "
low battery voltage indication appears on the screen.
To prevent damage to the meter or personal injury, only use the specified fuse.
Remove the test probes before opening the meter casing or battery cover.
1) Replace the batteries:
Remove the screws on the battery cover, open the battery cover, and replace the battery with a battery of the same specification.
Be sure to close the battery cover after the battery replacement, and tighten the screws before use.
2) Replace the fuse:
Gently remove the rear cover by removing the sheath and rear cover screws. Replace the blown fuse with a new fuse of the same
specification.
Reinstall the rear cover and tighten all screws, and then reinstall the sheath.
Two fuses are used in the meter
440mA/1000V fast-blow fuse, φ10X38mm, minimum breaking current 20,000mA
03017: 630mA/1000V fast-blow fuse, φ10X38mm, minimum breaking current 20,000mA
20A/1000V fast-blow fuse, φ10X38m, minimum breaking current 20,000mA
