Meaning of each state:
ALARM in progress!:
VSS is alarming; audible and visible signalisation enabled,
ready: VSS is not alarming, insufficient information to determine if system
is armed or not,
valet mode: DS511 was set into service / valet mode thus the vehicle is not
protected,
ANTI-HIJACK: DS511 received a command to immobilise the vehicle (anti-
hijack) function); vehicle is not immobilised yet,
ANTI-HIJACK vehicle stopped:
DS511 received a command to immobilise the vehicle (anti-
hijack) function); vehicle is immobilised.
VEHICLE GPS LOCALISATION
Device allows to check the vehicle GPS position. In order to get this
information SMS command needs to be send to DS511:

Device confirms receiving of command with return SMS:
Localisation will be sent within 90 seconds
The delay may be result of starting the GPS module and fixing vehicle GPS
position. By default the GPS receiver is disabled when vehicle is parked. After
fixing vehicle GPS position a SMS is sent:

The link can be opened in web browser on smartphone, tablet or other
mobile device. It leads to an online map with GPS vehicle position marked. If the
mobile device don't have internet access the link can be copied to personal
computer. It is also possible to copy the position coordinates to any localisation
platform to check the vehicle position.
If fixing the vehicle position is not possible at the moment (e.g. vehicle parked
in underground parking), the device will send last known position of vehicle and
the time at which the position was saved (in format UTC+0,00, that is GMT).
Current position is not known.

In particular case the last known position may be not defined, e.g. first start of
DS511 after installation in vehicle or GPS module was not activated after the
installation. In this case DS511 sends a return SMS:
Unable to fix vehicle position.
No last known position.
If the system is not equipped with external GPS module it responds with
information:
GPS not installed.
VEHICLE LOW BATTERY SIGNALISATION
If the vehicle battery voltage drops below a certain threshold, the DS511 can
send SMS information:
Warning! Vehicle battery voltage low: 10.9V
