how to raise chair height, as the post is nearly on the ground, and the seat height lever doesn't raise the chair height. Neither does the seat back lever work for adjusting to a forward upright position, its stuck leaning backwards. I've tried the tension thing and it didn't seem to help either.
Please advise mainly on how to raise the chair height. thank you

If the seat height lever is not functioning, try the following steps:
1. Check for Obstructions: Make sure nothing is blocking the lever or gas lift. 2. Inspect the Lever Mechanism: Ensure the lever is properly connected to the gas cylinder. 3. Apply Gentle Pressure: While seated, gently try lifting the lever again to see if the mechanism engages. 4. Check for Damage: Look for signs of damage or wear on the lever or gas cylinder. 5. Tighten Bolts: Verify that all bolts near the mechanism are secure.
If the lever still does not work, the gas lift or lever mechanism may be faulty and may need repair or replacement.
