Description
Power connector cable
Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly
2.
Place the computer in Battery Safe mode
3.
Remove the bottom cover
4.
Remove the battery
Remove the power connector cable:
1.
Remove the two Torx T8 2.5 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the right hinge to the computer, and the rotate
the hinge to the open position (2).
2.
Disconnect the cable from the system board (3).
3.
Remove the power connector cable from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
