Status Indicators

POWER LED indicates power ON/OFF status of the server.

STATUS LED 1, 2 ( )

While hardware is operating normally, STATUS LED 1 lights green. STATUS LED 2 is off.
STATUS LED 1 is off or STATUS LED 2 lights/flashes amber if there is a hardware failure.

The server is normally powered on.
The server is off-powered.
The server is in halt status.
Tips
If NEC ESMPRO is installed, you can view error logs to check the causes of
failures.
Description
The server is operating normally.
Initialization of BMC is in progress.
Memory is in a degraded state
Operating while CPU error is detected.
In redundant power configuration, power
is not supplied to either of power unit.
The power is off.
POST is in progress.
Memory dump is being requested.
(In such a case when the DUMP switch is
pressed)
Note: It remains green if the dump is
caused by software.
CPU could not be recognized.
Watchdog timer expired.
An uncorrectable error is detected in the
memory.
PCI system error has been detected.
PCI parity error has been detected.
PCI bus error has been detected.

Description
Solution

Wait until initialization completes. (LED
goes off).
If the LED indication does not change
after a few minutes, contact your sales
representative.
Check the power supply path, e.g., power
cable, etc.
Contact your sales representative when
there is no problem.
Turn the power ON when it is turned
OFF.
Wait until the POST is completed if it is in
progress.
Wait until the memory dump is completed
when the DUMP switch is pressed.
Contact your sales representative when
there is no problem.
