Configuring Ports

This switch has 32 ports of which 28 are configured as 40/50-Gigabit ports and 4 are configured as
40/100-Gigabit ports. You can change the ways that these ports are used by using templates to configure all
the ports in commonly used ways or by configuring ports individually. Three of the templates that you can
use are the following:
Note The top and bottom ports should run at the same speed. If a speed difference is encountered, the bottom port
is disabled.
• 28 40/50-Gigabit ports and 4 40/100-Gigabit ports (default configuration)
• 24 40/50-Gigabit ports and 6 40/100-Gigabit ports
• 18 40/100-Gigabit ports
