Note: Determine the left and right sides of the machine from the normal operating position.

Recommended Maintenance Schedule(s)

Maintenance Procedure
• Torque the wheel lug nuts.
• Check the drive belt.
• Check the steering pump belt tension.
• Replace the hydraulic filter.
• Change the engine oil.
• Check pump dampener pressure.
• Check the engine rotating screen.
• Check the engine oil.
• Check the tire pressure.
• Check pump dampener pressure.
• Clean the suction strainer. (more often when using wetable powders)
• Clean and oil the foam air cleaner (more often in dusty, dirty conditions).
• Lubricate the pump.
• Check the battery cable connections.
• Check the battery electrolyte level.
• Lubricate all grease fittings.
• Lubricate the boom hinges.
• Clean the engine rotating screen (more often in dusty, dirty conditions).
• Replace the paper air cleaner element (more often in dusty, dirty conditions).
• Change the engine oil, including synthetic oil (more often when operating under
heavy load or in high temperature).
• Replace the engine oil filter.
• Replace the fuel filter.
• Check the operation of the Neutral gear shift position.
• Torque the wheel lug nuts.
• Inspect the condition and wear of the tires.
• Check front wheel toe-in.
• Inspect the brakes.
• Check the steering pump belt tension.
• Change the spark plugs.
• Check the shift cables.
• Check the parking brake.
• Check the drive belt.
• Check the transaxle/hydraulic fluid.
• Inspect all hoses and connections for damage and proper attachment.
• Grease the actuator rod bearings.
• Complete all yearly maintenance procedure specified in the engine operator's
manual.
• Inspect the fuel lines.
• Clean and lubricate the primary drive clutch.
• Inspect the pump diaphragm and replace if necessary. (see an Authorized Toro
Service Distributor)
• Inspect the pressure dampener bladder and replace if necessary. (see an Authorized
Toro Service Distributor)
• Inspect the pump check valves and replace if necessary. (see an Authorized Toro
Service Distributor)
• Change the pump drive gearbox fluid.
• Check boom actuator hydraulic oil for air bubbles.
• Inspect the center boom nylon pivot bushings.
