~
The integrated water protection system offers protection from
water damage, provided the following conditions are met:
– The coffee machine is correctly installed, connected to the
electrical supply and plumbed in.
– If a fault is identified, the machine must be repaired immediately.
– The stopcock is turned off when the machine is not used for a
longer period of time (e.g. during holidays).
~
While the machine is under guarantee, repairs should only be
undertaken by a Miele authorised service technician. Otherwise the
guarantee is invalidated.
~
Miele can only guarantee the safety of the machine when original
Miele replacement parts are used. Faulty components must only be
replaced by genuine Miele original spare parts.
~
The machine must be disconnected from the electrical supply
during installation and repair work.
~
Do not open the outer casing of the machine. Tampering with
electrical connections or components and mechanical parts is
highly dangerous to the user and can cause operational faults.
~
Only use genuine original Miele accessories with this machine.
Using spare parts or accessories from other manufacturers will
invalidate the guarantee, and Miele cannot accept liability.
~
In areas which may be subject to infestation by cockroaches or
other vermin, pay particular attention to keeping the appliance and
its surroundings clean at all times. Any damage caused by
cockroaches or other vermin will not be covered by the guarantee.
