Notes on connecting to the
mains water supply
Connection to the mains water
supply should only be carried out by
a qualified and competent person.
Disconnect the coffee machine from
the mains electricity supply before
connecting it to the mains water
supply.
Close the stopcock before
connecting the water intake hose to
the machine.
The water quality must conform to
the requirements for drinking water
in the country the machine is being
installed in.
The coffee machine meets the
requirements of IEC 61770 and
EN 61770.
Connection to the household water
supply must comply with current
national and local safety regulations
in the country in which the coffee
machine is being installed.

The machine is only suitable for
connection to a cold water supply,
which
– is connected directly to the fresh
water supply, to guarantee
circulation of water throughout the
system.
Avoid laying the water hose in such
a way that water can collect in it, as
this can affect the taste of the drinks.
– The machine is constructed to
comply with the relevant DIN stan-
dard and may be connected to the
mains drinking water supply without
a non-return valve if national
regulations permit.
– The water intake hose must be able
to sustain operating pressure.
– The water pressure (flow rate) must
be between 1 and 10 bar (10

10 Pa).
– The stainless steel hose supplied is
1.5 m long and must not be
lengthened.
– The water intake system must
comply with hygiene regulations.
– A stopcock must be provided
between the stainless steel hose and
the household water supply to
ensure that the water supply can be
cut off if necessary.
The stopcock should be easily
accessible after the machine has
been built in.
