 Loading Songs
Click the "Load Songs" button to fill the list box below (see figure 31). Navigate to any Type 0 MIDI file,
or select multiple files using the "shift" or "ctrl" keys, from the file open window to add the files.

When you select "ok" from the file load window, you should see your songs appear in the list. You may
receive errors like "not a Type 0 file" or "not a valid MIDI file". This means you will need to convert the
MIDI file to Type 0 using your favorite MIDI file utility. You can manipulate the list with the other buttons
below (i.e. to remove the first song, uncheck the other songs and click the "Remove Checked" button, or
you can add more songs to the list by clicking the "Load Songs" button again). Ensure your DEC is
connected properly and then click "Load Songs To DEC". There may be a long pause at this point,
especially if there are a lot of large files in the list – please do not click anything! A progress window
should appear within 5 to 30 seconds as shown in figure 32. When the progress window appears, songs
should be loading into the DEC.

If you see no progress and the message "Waiting for ACK" appears, please double check the MIDI IN and
MIDI OUT connections to the G-DEC30 or B-DEC30.
