Inserting the batteries

1. Twist the selector on the bottom to the BATTERIES position.
2. Pull the battery holder out and insert 4 x LR6/AA batteries. Make sure to insert the batteries
according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery holder and twist the selector on the bottom to the OFF position.
N.B.
- Never mix old and new batteries or alkaline and rechargeable batteries.

Filling with peppercorns

1. Set the selector on the bottom to the OFF position.
2. Remove the top by pulling it straight up.
3. Pour in the peppercorns (only fill to ¾-capacity, not completely full).
4. Replace the top.

Operating instructions

1. Twist the selector on the bottom to the ON position.
2. Hold the pepper mill over your food and then invert it. As soon as the mill is upside down
it will start milling.
3. Stop the mill by turning it back the right way up.

Adjusting the coarseness of the grounds

Turn the adjusting screw on the top of the mill to adjust the coarseness of the grounds.
Experiment until you find the best setting.

Cleaning

Set the selector on the bottom to the OFF position before beginning to clean the product.
Clean using a dry cloth. Never immerse or rinse the pepper mill in water. The pepper mill
should not be washed in the dishwasher.

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you are unsure how to dispose of
the product, please contact your municipality.
