4. Push down on the rear pointer to release the skid
plate.
5. Put 1 blade wrench in the slot at the front of the
motor. Put 1 blade wrench on the blade shaft bolt in
the blade block.
Note: 2 blade wrenches are supplied with the
product.

6. Turn the blade shaft bolt (A) counterclockwise until
the wrench in the slot engages on the flat surfaces of
the blade shaft.

7. Remove the blade shaft bolt (A). Remove the outer
blade flange (B). Remove the blade (C) from the
blade shaft (D).
To install a cutting blade
WARNING: Do not use a cutting blade with
a rated speed value lower than that of the
product. The rated speed value of the
cutting blade is marked on the cutting blade,
and that of the product is marked on the
type plate. Only use Husqvarna Soff-Cut
blades that are in compliance with national
or regional standards, for example EN13236
or ANSI B7.1.
CAUTION: Examine the cutting blade for
defects such as damages, cracks, loss of
segments, warping, overheating, excessive
wear or a damaged tri-arbor hole. Discard a
defective blade.
Examine the blade flanges for damage and excessive
wear and make sure that the blade flanges are clean.
Cutting blades are not included with the product. Use
only original Husqvarna cutting blades. Refer to
Technical data on page 28 for the correct type for your
model. For Soff-Cut 150, a skid plate is included in the
cutting blade kit.
