8.19. LCD Panel Replacement
1. Remove the upper case according to the section 8.2. "Removal of
Upper Case".
2. Remove the incidence polarizer according to steps 2-5 in the
section 8.18. "Incidence Polarizer Replacement".
3. Use a hexagon head wrench, unscrew the 2 screws fixing the LCD
panel adjuster.
4. Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the LCD panel.
5. Install a replacement LCD panel with 4 screws.
6. Screw temporarily 2 screws for the LCD panel adjuster.
Note:
- These screws are tighten after adjustment.
7. Install the incidence polarizer.
8. Reassemble and adjust according to steps 7-11 in the section 8.18.
"Incidence Polarizer Replacement".
Note:
- There is difference between adjustment after LCD panel
replacement and adjustment after incidence polarizer replacement.
