All functions for the writing access to the Ethernet coupler can be secured by a password.

Link monitoring
o
As soon as both Ethernet cables are pulled with enabled Link monitoring, the com-
munication is finished by the ricos FLEX BC MODBUS, BASP (Befehls-Ausgabe-
Sperre, i.e. command output disable) is activated and this is indicated with flash-
ing SB LED. Link monitoring reacts only when both Ethernet cables are pulled.
Communication timeout
o
At Communication Timeout [ms] you can specify a timeout value for Ethernet com-
munication in ms.
o
If there is no Modbus communication for the specified time, BASP is set on the ri-
cos FLEX bus.
o
With the value 0, you can deactivate the time monitoring.
IO cycle
o With IO cycle, you can specify the cycle for the ricos FLEX bus within which the I/O
image is to be refreshed.
o
With the value 0 you can set the maximum possible cycle time (no delay).
Socket timeout
o
At Socket Timeout [ms] you can specify a timeout value for the Modbus socket
connection in ms.
o
If there is no Modbus communication on a specific Modbus socket connection for
the specified time, the corresponding socket is closed.
o
With the value 0, you can deactivate the time monitoring.
Configuration State: Deviations between the setpoint and actual configuration are shown
here (OK: no deviation).
Diagnosis Entries: Here all pending diagnostic messages are shown.
Diagnosis Buffer: Here the content of the diagnostics buffer is listed.
