On delivery the ricos FLEX BC MODBUS has the following settings:

If the systems are in the same IP circle, you can use this address to access the web page P address
allows you to access the web page of the integrated web server and change the IP address data ac-
cordingly via tab 'IP'.
Changing the IP address
To change the IP address of the Modbus/TCP coupler the communicating systems must be in the
same IP circuit. For this you have to shortly change the IP address of your PC network card. Please
consider that this is only possible as a user with administrative rights. Otherwise, contact your sys-
tem administrator. The adaptation happens with the following proceeding:
 Connect your Modbus/TCP coupler via Ethernet with the network card of your PC and switch-
on the power supply of the Modbus/TCP coupler.
 Call the 'Network setting' of the 'Control Panel'.
 Open the 'Properties' of your network adapter and open the properties dialog of 'Internet proto-
col TCP/IP...'.
 Write down the IP address settings.
 Now enter an IP address, which differs in the last number of 10.0.0.1 such as 10.0.0.2 and the
subnet mask 255.255.255.0. If IP address data just exist, you can add the new as additional
data.
 Confirm your input and close all the dialogs.
Now you can access the web server of the Modbus/TCP coupler. Here you have the possibility
to change the IP address data via the register 'IP'.
 Open, after you have adjusted the IP address data at the Modbus/TCP coupler via the web
server, on your PC the properties dialog of 'Internet protocol TCP/IP...' again, enter the original
IP address data, confirm your entries and close all the dialogs.
If the systems are in the same IP circle, you can access the web server of the Modbus/TCP cou-
pler.
