    Chapter 9 - Hydraulics Release system pressure before attempting to make adjustments or repairs. Hydraulic fluid expands when heated. This raises the pressure in an unventilated tank. Release the tank pressure before removing the cap completely. Failure to do so may cause the oil to shoot out of the tank very rapidly and cause severe burns.
