Service and Inspection Schedule Lubricant inspection and replenishment in MPS75SV series stages depends on conditions such as duty cycle, speed, and the environment. An inspection interval of once per month is recommended until a trend develops for the application.

    Cleaning Before using a cleaning solvent on any part of the MPS75SV, blow away small particles and dust with nitrogen or, less preferably, clean, dry, compressed air. Any external metal surface of the MPS75SV can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth.

For standard applications, use NSK LG2 grease on the precision rail guides and ball screw. For vacuum applications, refer to the vacuum guidelines in Section 1.3.
