Troubleshooting

Problem
It switches frequently to cool air while using in
"Hot" air, or sparks can be seen within the body.
(These sparks are caused by the thermostat
switch which is the protective device, and are not
dangerous.)
The hot air repeatedly turns into cool air.
The hot air is abnormally hot.
The temperature of the airflow is low, and the
airflow is weak.
The noise is abnormally loud, and the inner part
is bright red.
The plug is abnormally hot.
Sparks are generated inside the nanoe™ outlet.
The nanoe™ outlet emits a noise (crackling noise).
If the problems still cannot be solved, contact the store where you purchased the unit or a service center authorized by Panasonic
for repair.
Possible cause
Lint has accumulated on the air inlet
or air outlet.
Hair or something is blocking the
air inlet.
The hair dryer is being used with
the dual voltage switch set to
[220‑240 V] where the power
supply voltage is 100‑120 V.
The hair dryer is being used with
the dual voltage switch set to
[100‑120 V] where the power
supply voltage is 220‑240 V.
The connection to the household
outlet is loose.
Abnormality caused by a dirty
electrode (needle portion).
Action
Remove accumulated lint.

Do not block the air inlet.
Use with the dual voltage switch
set to [100‑120 V].
Use with the dual voltage switch
set to [220‑240 V].
Use a household outlet that fits
securely.
Perform maintenance of the
nanoe™ outlet.
