5 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Refer to WIRING CONNECTION DIAGRAM.
< TROUBLE >
Hot air or cool air is
not emitted at "1" , "2"
or "3" position.
< CHECK >
Check continuity of power cord.
Check continuity between "1' and "4" of main
switch at 1 position.
Check continuity between "1" and "4"
between "2" and "4" of main switch at 2 position.
Check continuity between "1" and "4"
between "2" and "4" between "3" and "5" of main
switch at 3 position
Check the resistance of heater coil between
"2" and "5" of the Main switch at "0" or "1"
positions. The value should be as follows:
220~240V
:approx. 47.0Ω
110V
:approx. 10.3Ω
Check the resistance of voltage dropping
resistor between end of tinplate of voltage
dropping resistor (at lead wire gray for 110V, at
hard lead wire white for 220V-240V) in heater
block and "5" of main switch at "0" or "1"
position.
The value should be as follows:
220~240V
:approx. 528Ω
110V
:approx. 215Ω
Check if motor rotates when adding DC24V
to motor terminal.
Check the continuity of diode (D)

Replace power cord.

Replace main switch.
NO
Replace heater block.
NO
Replace motor.
NO
Replace heater block.
