SECTION 1B : INSTALLATION - HEART RATE
INSTALLING THE HE ART R ATE SENSOR
The hear t rate sensors are integrated in the sof t elastic belt. For
a cor rec t hear t rate measurement, the belt must be positioned
slightly below your chest, direc tly on your sk in.
1. M ake the t wo contac t areas moist before you star t your exer-
cise.
2. The chest belt needs to be snug to stay in place. Slide the
buck les to adjust the length of the belt for a snug but com-
for table fit.
3. Press the ANT+ transmitter to the elastic belt on the t wo
push-button connec tors.
Maint enance
- R emove the transmitter from the elastic belt af ter ever y use
and dr y the push-buttons connec tors on the transmitter.
R inse the sof t elastic belt under running water af ter ever y
use.
- Wash the elastic belt regular ly in a washing machine at 30ºC.
Use a washing pouch. D o not spin- dr y, iron, dr y clean or
bleach the elastic belt. D o not use detergent with bleach or
fabr ic sof tener.
- Never put the transmitter in the washing machine!

The sensor batter ies are pre -installed. When needed, check below illustrations for cor rec t
replacement.
1. Open the batter y cover by tur ning the cover counter clock wise.
2. I nser t the batter y (CR 2032) with the negative side (-) facing up for 3 seconds. This will
reset the sensor.
3. I nser t the batter y (CR 2032) with the positive side (+) facing up. Close the batter y cover
by tur ning it clock wise.
Batter ies should be disposed of in compliance with local regulations.
