Functions

SPD: Current Speed
0 - 199.9 Km/h 120 Miles/h +/- 1%

The current speed is always displayed on the 4 digits set when riding.

CLK: 12HR / 24HR Clock
1:00:00 - 12:59:59 AM/PM or 0:00:00 - 23:59:59 +/-0.003%
CLK can display the current time in 12H AM-PM or 24H clock.

DST: Trip Distance
0.00 - 999.99 Km/Miles +/- 0.1%

DST function accumulates the distance data from the latest RESET operation.

RTM: Riding Time
00M00S - 59M59S 1H00M - 99H59M
RTM totals the riding time from the last RESET operation.

AVG: Average Speed
0.0 - 199.9 Km/h 120.0 Miles/h +/- 0.1%

AVG is calculated from the DST divided by the RTM; the average data counted is from the last RESET.

MAX: Maximum Speed
0.00 - 199.99 Km/Miles +/- 1%
MAX shows the highest speed from the last RESET operation.

T.RT: Total Riding Time
0H00M - 999H59M

The T.RT totals the riding time from the last ALL CLEAR operation.

ODO: Odometer
0 - 99999 Km/Miles +/- 0.1%

The ODO accumulates the total distance.
The ODO data can be cleared by the ALL CLEAR operation only.

: SCAN

  1. Auto-Scanning Display Mode.
    Press the MODE button till the symbol is displayed. The computer will change the display modes in a loop sequence automatically every 5 seconds.
  2. Fixed Display Mode.
    Press the MODE button to turn off the symbol and select a desired display mode; the computer will stop the auto-scanning display operation.

: Speed Pacer
It flashes the speed pacer arrow while the current speed is higher than the average speed and the down arrow flickers conversely.

: Low Battery Indicator
The symbol will appear to indicate the battery is nearly empty.

Main Unit Setup

INITIATE THE COMPUTER (ALL CLEAR)

  1. Hold down the MODE button and SET button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to initiate the computer and clear all data.

    Be sure to initiate the computer before the first time use, otherwise the computer may run errors.
  2. The LCD segments will be tested automatically after the unit is initiated.
  3. Press the MODE button to stop LCD test, then the flickering "KM/h" appears.

UNIT SELECTION

Press MODE button to choose KM/h or M/h. Press the SET button to recognize either as desired.

CIRCUMFERENCE DATA SETTING

It displays the "c2155" of the default value 2155mm. Measure the value for your wheel or refer to the quick table provided in this manual.

WHEEL CIRCUMFERENCE

  1. Precise Measurement (fig.2-1)

    Roll the wheel until the valve is at its lowest point close to the ground, then mark this first point on the ground. Push the bicycle forward until the valve returns to its lowest point. Mark the second point on the ground. Measure the distance between the marks. Enter this value to set the wheel circumference.
  2. Quick Table (fig.2-2): Get a suitable circumference value from the table.

CLOCK SETTING

  1. It displays the symbol at this clock setting.
  2. 12H-AM, 12H-PM or 24H selection.
    A quick press of the MODE button to select 12H-AM, 12H-PM or 24H. Hold down the MODE button for more than 2 seconds to change to the clock setting screen.
    A quick press of the MODE button advances the flickering digit by 1.
  3. To change the flickering digit, hold down the MODE button till the flickering digit moves to the next digit.

ODO AND T.RT DATA SETTING

The function is designed to SET former data of ODO and T.RT when battery is replaced. Each press of the SET button skips one step in the setting data process.

MODE BUTTON

Quickly press this button to move in a loop sequence from one basic function screen to another.

SET BUTTON

Hold down the SET button (about 3 seconds) to enter the data setting.

AUTOMATIC START / STOP

  1. The computer will automatically begin counting SPD, ODO, DST, MAX, T.RT, RTM and AVG data upon riding and stop counting data when riding is stopped.
  2. The flickering symbol indicates that the computer is receiving signal.

POWER AUTO ON / OFF

To preserve battery, this computer will automatically switch off when it has not been used for about 15 minutes. The power will be turned on automatically by riding the bicycle or by pressing the MODE button.

RESET OPERATION

  1. Hold down the MODE button till the LCD digit is blanked, then release it. The computer will RESET the DST, RTM, AVG and MAX.
  2. CLK, T.RT and ODO data cannot be reset.

EL BACK-LIGHT

Press SET(EL) button to turn on or off the EL back-light function.

When you turn on EL back-light, the symbol will appear.

After pressing MODE button, it will light for 4 seconds.

BATTERY CHANGE

  1. The symbol will appear to indicate the battery is nearly empty.
  2. Replace the battery wit a new battery within a few days after the symbol appeared.
  3. All data will be cleared when battery is replaced, but this computer allows you to set the ODO which you had before replacing battery. Keep record of these data before you remove the old battery!
  4. Replace with a new CR2025 battery and initiate the main unit.

PRECAUTIONS

  1. This computer can be used in the rain but should not be used underwater.
  2. Don't leave the main unit exposed to direct sunlight when not riding the bike.
  3. Don't disassemble the main unit or its accessories.
  4. Check relative position and gap of sensor and magnet periodically.
  5. Clean the contacts of the bracket and the bottom of the main unit periodically.
  6. Don't use thinner, alcohol or benzene to clean the main unit or its accessories when they become dirty.
  7. Remember to pay attention to the road while riding.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM CHECK ITEMS SOLUTION

No display

  1. Is the battery empty?
  2. Is there incorrect battery installation?
  1. Replace the battery.
  2. Be sure that the positive pole of the battery is facing the battery cap.

No current speed or incorrect data

  1. Is it in the data setting mode?
  2. Are the contacts between the main unit and the bracket poor?
  3. Are the relative positions and gap of sensor and magnet correct?
  4. Is the wore broken or damaged?
  5. Is the circumference correct?
  1. Refer to the data setting procedure and complete the adjustment.
  2. Wipe the contacts clean.
  3. Refer to the installation and adjust correctly.
  4. Repair or replace wire.
  5. Refer to "CIRCUMFERENCE DATA SETTING" and enter correct value.

Irregular display

Refer to the "MAIN UNIT SETUP" and initiate the computer again.

LCD is blank

Did you leave the main unit under direct sunlight when not riding the bike for a long time? Place main unit in the shade to return to normal state. No adverse effect on data.

Display is slow

Is the temperature below 0˚C (32˚F)? Unit will return to normal state when the temperature rises.

Operation Temperature: 0˚C ~ 50˚C (32˚F ~ 122˚F)

Storage Temperature: -10˚C ~ 60˚C (14˚F ~ 140˚F)

Main Unit Battery Power: 3V battery x 1 (CR2025)

Dimensions and Weight of Main Unit: 34 x 50 x 11.5mm / 33.15g
